Initial response from CIC with application number

Hello everyone,

I applied for PR in Canadian Experience class on October 21, 2013 after completing 1 year of experience on Sept. 1, 2013. My application was received by CIO Sydney on October 26. I have not received a first email from CIO about application number or any other confirmation. Can anyone tell me how long the first response usually takes? Anyone else in the same time frame of application?

I've sent my application in July. Got AOR exactly 2 months after I sent it. Based on some forum posts, AOR processing time is about 45 days now...
