Initial Entry timeframes

Hello

I was wondering on the timeframe for the initial entry for the professional migration visa when its issued.

I know for the Australian equivelent it was a randomised date... we got our visa in october and had to enter before april 22... there seemed to be no rules as others had only 2 months for intial entry while others had 8 months....

So does canada have any rules for initial entry... i.e must be within 6 months of visa being granted......

12 months from the date of the medical or the expiry of the passport, whichever comes first.
