Initial Application -- what documents are required ?

Hello Members,

I am new to this forum and this is my first post.

I am planning to apply for Canadian PR under federal program. Can you please let me know what are the documents needed for the initial application. After going through the forum I understand that IELTS score is one of the requirements now to initiate the process. In addition do I also need to submit the proof of funds right away ?

I would appreciate your response on my query.

@datuganol, so if your alone going there it entails lesser expense in all fees (VO,Landing fee,Medical) and POF. ;D

First ensure that your occupation comes under the new list effective 26June10. After this refer to the 'check list' applicable for your country from where you are applying and form-5612 .
