Hi blackpearl,
If you are ex-infoscian you will not get any reference letter from Infosys. Try looping in your mail communication with Alumni team to separations@infosys.com and they will confirm this over e-mail to you. Infosys only provide relieving letter and nothing else apart from that. However, certain existing employees have been able to get one from their existing unit HR.
Hope this helps!

So sad to see most of the Indian IT companies do this to their employees. I have a HR friend and its a duty of the HR Team to define the roles and responsibilities of every profile and assign them a job code internally and maintain them in the database. Every company does this, but due to the sheer fact that these organizations are so big and have so many reporting lines, most of the executives does not know the hierarchy and whom to contact to approve such requests.

These decisions are made at the very entry level stating nothing can be given other than the relieving letter. But the fact is that if there was a role say - Senior Analyst, they would need to provide the roles and responsibilities at the request of the employee. Most MNCs based outside India provide them. Its only the Indian big players who exploit the employees in such unetihcal and unprofessional way.

Hi,

Try writing to Sarah_Dsouza@infosys.com for the experience letter from Infosys.

They normally do not give the experience letters except in cases when the person needs to apply for H1B or green card in US.

They have a team (US_Empverification@infosys.com) which deals in these US visa/green card related cases. But then, you need to prove that you are applying for H1B visa/Green card. If you are able to, then they will send you a a form to be filled and signed by your manager in current organization (who is sponsoring your H1B/Green card).

Hope this information helps!

Good Luck!
