Informing CIC of FPR completion

Hi guys,

I was advised by RCMP to inform CIC that my Fingerprints were done and cleared and to check if CIC received them.

Has anyone had any experience doing this? I have had bad luck since the call agents are not looking up my file anymore.

Wait... there are lot of pending cases with CIC and they will never confirm
if you want to get the confirmation after few month you can apply for ATIP
report..

When did you get your fingerprints done? Did you get the original fingerprints results back from RCMP or were they forwarded directly from RCMP to CIC?

I am asking this because my friend got fingerprint results back from RCMP and he thought its the copy thus he kept it with himself until he received a final letter from CIC after few months asking for fingerprint results where he realized that the results that he has are the original ones. He sent them immediately and got test invite after a month and now he is waiting for oath after the test/interview.

If RCMP has forwarded your results directly to CIC then its good. If you receive the results then confirm with RCMP if the results are the original ones and then send it to CIC office immediately to the address mentioned on the fingerprint request letter sent by CIC

You can confirm with CIC if they have received the fingerprints results or not.

I got them done on the 6th of July and they were sent directly to CIC from RCMP. I called RCMP and they have send the results to CIC but CIC haven't received it yet. I tried calling CIC and they said not yet. They (call centre agent) also did say it could take months but sorry I don't believe them!
