So I am applying for a study permit extension, and one of the reasons for this extension has been my poor grades and mental health. Hence I explained my situation, explaining the reason of my poor performance, and I also shared the proof of my mental health diagnosis. With a note from my psychiatrist. However, due to some shame, I lied to my shrink, saying that I did work a few part time jobs. I feel my shrink is too judgemental, and not tactful at all (which might be effective for some, I however feel uncomfortable my that) Hence I lied about it, However, the truth is that I have never worked in canada, and my study permit extension form also says the same thing. I am afraid if the IRCC contacts my shrink and the topic of working comes up. They would suspect things and it will get weird. I truthfully have never worked here.
