Hi,

I need your prompt suport & help.
I have some questions/confusions regarding Spouse sponsorship/(PR) as follow,
My wife is Canadian national. We are currently living in one of the European country. We are living here on EU Blue card(High skilled visa) as I am working in french company. My concern is,

1) If I get Canadian PR for 5 or more years but still I want to live in European countries for couple of years with my wife so my living outside Canada duration will count toward my Canadian nationality & it will not effect to my PR as I am living with my wife?. I found some source/ info where it is mentioned that my time living outside Canada with my wife will count towards my Canadian nationality & will not effect PR. Please see the link below for

Situation 1. Accompanying a Canadian citizen outside Canada

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...renewal-change-sex-designation.html#appendixA

2) While holding PR, do I need to visit Canada(In starting or time by time) not to loose PR?

It will be highly appreciated to receive response asap.

Best Regards,

Arsii

1) As long as your wife is accompanying you, the time you spent outside of Canada counts towards your PR residency obligation. This time will NOT count towards Canadian citizenship. For citizenship, you must be physically living in Canada.
2) No need to visit Canada (again, provided your wife is living with you).
