info regarding residency obligations

hi
if a person landed n stayed for 45 days n then returned back to his country n now wana apply for travel document,as per checklist he need to submit residency obligation....what is that?n what else he shud submit for travel document n for how long that TD is valid?

If you want to apply for a travel document, fill out the form and apply. The residency obligation states that you can not be outside Canada for more than 1095 days in your first 5 years as a PR or any 5 year period after that. If you get the TD, it is usually valid for 6 months.
