Hi guys need your help.
I am interested to apply for pnp program for which I need to have my ee profile in pool. My crs is 369 and wanted to take luck getting selected by Alberta. Anyhow when I make my profile on canadian immigration website it says I am ineligible to apply. Later I figured that my profile was ineligible due to my language score that was clb 8. It does not state anywhere that candidates with lesser language score than clb9 are simply not eligible to apply. Why am I facing this please help me!

Mention all other factors here.
Age
Language scores
Education (ECA)
Work experience (atleast 1 year of full time paid experience in NOC 0, A or B)

According to the eligibility for FSW, these are the language requirements (I am assuming FSW is the stream you are eligible for and your work experience is not in Canada):

Language ability
You must:
  • take approved language testsin English or French for:
    • writing
    • reading
    • listening
    • speaking
  • get a minimum score of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 in all 4 abilities
  • enter the test results in your Express Entry profile
So, did you get CLB 8 in all four areas? Or is the just your average for the four and some are lower?

My language score is CLB 9 in Listening, reading and speaking and CLB 7 in writing.
I.e. L8R8S7W6.
My FSW total score is 70.

That's strange, it does seem like you would be eligible based on what you're saying. Are your language scores in the past two years? I assume they are but I'm just asking because if they say you're ineligible based on language that's another piece that could be missing. Or you took the Academic IELTS instead of General?

I took ielts gt on 14 feb 2019. That is just one year old. After getting ineligibility multiple times I tried using all CLB 9 just to check and that worked which means they’re stating me ineligible just for my current language score which anyway is still higher than their requirement. So depressed and annoyed!
