I just read about the Pst-Graduate work-permit program and i will be coming for a 1 year Post Graduate Marketing Diploma course.
I guess in that case I will only get 1 year work permit,am I correct?

Well this is for Indians,
Well most of you guys have 10th + 2years + 4 years right? Before coming for the post - graduate course?
But in my case,I've done BSC IT
Its
10+2+3
Hence I need to compensate for the 1 year with this Marketing Course before I can take masters or MBA or anything of that sort..
And the problem is, I really don't want 2 more degrees...I just want one,any one either Masters (I guess not possible under 10+2+3 but maybe I'm wrong?)
or the one I'm talking about....a Post-Graduate 1 year diploma.
But in that case I will only get 1 year of PGWP right?
And according to new rules, they require immigrants to stay in Canada for at least 4 years full before we can become Permanent residents,am I correct?
Well,in that case,am I really out of luck ,or is there a workaround for this?
I'm really coming to Canada to become a Permanent resident - thats the point of all this, really!
Help folks,thanks in advance
