We are Indian Family living in UAE since very long time. Two of my children will be applying for Canada Student Permit and Visa next year from UAE (non-SDS). At the same time I am also thinking of Intra-Company-Transfer.

Does it weaken or strengthen the case for the student if the parents are also trying for transfer? I can make changes to my plans if needed.

The children(over 18) have to show home ties & justify purpose of visit and make sure the course is in alignment with their academics

You having an ICT application in parallel does not interfere.

Your application for an ICT would weaken their study permit applications especially if you have already received an ICT. Your second child will already face obstacles applying that your first child will not. The other big issue is the fact that you don’t live in India so it will be difficult to show strong ties to India. If your primary goal is for your children to study in Canada, you should only apply for an ICT after they have received study permits.
