I would really appreciate someone who can guide me in the right direction as I am really confused and worried about my wife's spouse visa. I was almost through with my wife's Spouse visa application who is a Singaporean citizen. We were able to arrange the PCC from Singapore as well although they normally don't issue without consent of request from IRCC.
The problem came when I saw that the Indian PCC is a must with the application pack. Although we tried to get it from Singapore when she was there, but the BLS office denied as they wanted the "proof of application" for Canada immigration which we didn't have at that time. Now she is in Canada. I am so confused with all the information that is given in the BLS website as my wife does not have an Indian passport. And will the processing time be 4-6 weeks for Alberta applicants? My wife does not have the status proof in Canada either (as she had ETA when she arrived and the immigration officer did not stamp her passport.
Does she need to apply for PCC from Singapore or India or Canada? It's very confusing...thanks for reading and anyone who tries to help me...
