Indian PCC Delayed

Hi,
I live outside India and the Indian embassy here has forwarded the Police Clearance Certificate request to India. The embassy guy says they don't know the timeline and it can take 3 months. I have already received ITA. Is there a way i can contact the Regional Passport Centre to check the status. ?

Not sure about that but if you have documentation to prove what you said above, then just upload that document in pcc slot and mention in your loe that you will upload pcc as soon as you get it. This will hold your background check until pcc comes up but other things can proceed

Did you get your PCC? If yes, how long did it take? I am in the same boat. they sent my details to India and are not sure about the timelines.
