Indian PCC dated more than 3 months

PCC that i've applied is dated more than 3 months. Do i need to reapply for it?

AFAIK, PCC is valid for atleast 1 year though they dont mention that in the PCC.

But CIC checklist states that PCC should be dated no more than 3 months before submitting application

Submit it with outdated PCC and wait for CIC to request and updated one later on, or maybe
you're lucky and don't get the request and they simply accept it.
