When I filed my application, there was lot of confusion regarding points of Indian Chartered Accountant with 10+2+3 Bachelor degree. I had claimed 22 points in my application to claim 67 points that thankfully has been accepted by the Immigration Officer.

This information may be useful for other Chartered Accountants.

Good luck

As per the infformation given in the IMM EG 7000 it is correct but to fall in NOC 1111 your JDs should also all under the prescribed category.

Best of Luck

You mean to say that a CA cannot claim 25 points directly..one has to go like 10 + 2 +3.....and secure 22 points...

One more thing i want to know..Apart from BCom from Delhi university
CA from Institute of Chartered Accountant of India

I think he means to say that since CA is a 3 year certification, you can claim 22 points but wait for him to reply.

Dear All.... Actually I think Indian CA with graduation fall in 3rd category of IMM EG 7000 given on the page number 7....... It states one should have a THREE YEARS DIPLOMA, TARDE CERTIFICATE or APPRENTICESHIP and AT LEAST 15 YEARS OF STUDY. SO, we entitled to count three years for graduation and three year for articleship training to fall under this category to get 22 points.
I am not sure whether a CA with Graduation will fall in 1st category of 25 points or not as CAs in Canada is not considered as equivalent to Masters or Ph.D. As per my information it is considered only as a bachelor degree.
One more thing, before applying I contacted a consultant, she told me CA with graduation will get 20 points only. I just ignored them and applied myself.
Thankfully, till now everything is moving in the right direction.
May god bless all of us!!!!
