Hey there,
I am CA final student and want to migrate abroad for further CA designations.
I am confused about which country I should choose.
Canada or Australia.
I have heard about ICAI MoU with both countries.
Please help me find which country and course is better.

1) CGA or CICA in Canada
2) CPA or ICAA in australia

Which one is prospective and can I apply for visa on the basis of these courses?
Looking forward to get your views

I am not sure about Australia, but for Canada you may not be able to sit for UFE or equivalency exams for CICA unless you are a citizen or permanent resident of Canada. CGA is open for international candidates, however it is considered as a second tier designation. As far as I know you cannot automatically get any visa upon obtaining any of these designations.

My personal advice to you is to go for Australian immigration (if possible) for economic reasons as the feedback from friends and colleagues who left for Canada in the past couple of years is not very bright even after obtaining Canadian CA, unless you opt for Canada based on other reasons like family reunification etc.

Good luck!

Australia or Canada you will have to really study hard to be able to do something good for your self

chances of success and of PR are higher in Canada,

I would suggest Canada to be your first choice and the other country across the Pond a second option

Thanks frnds,
I am still confused about Canada and Australia. You're right, I'll have to take some PG diploma to first land in Canada and then plan for CGA or UFE.
I heard about Australia's CPA that it has good prospect there.
My goal is to migrate abroad for further accountancy related future.
Do you refer any other country like New Zealand if it is good for our field?

Thank you
