I applied 1 week ago for a visitor visa. I paid the biometrics fee at the time of applying. I am an Indian in USA.
I got a ghost email from CIC the day following my application submission. However, since then, I have not gotten any communication about the progress of my application.
On the official website, it says:
If you apply online for a visitor visa, study or work permit
I have reached out to them via the webform, but no response.
Is this expected? How can I check on the status of my application?
My trip is coming up in a few weeks so I am concerned about getting the visa. Please let me know if you have any insight.
