Kolkata police gave me PCC for a time between 2013 and 2018.
The website where I applied for PCC does not have option for ask PCC backdated to more than 5 years.
Would that work?

you need to get pcc from a psk (passport seva kendra). it only takes 1 day if you go to a psk close to the address in your passport.
your kolkata pcc will be rejected as it does not cover your entire stay in india if you lived there before 2013

I live in the USA now, PSK is not available here.
Can I apply in embassy and provide LOE

yes if you live outside india, you need to apply from an embassy.

If you're abroad you need to apply PCC from embassy / consulate. There is no need for LOE for PCC issued from Embassy / Consulate.

I have a question.
I am currently residing in USA. I got PCC issued from India while residing in USA.
Is that PCC issued from India is valid or it has to be issued from Consulate of India in US?

Hello People, I am applying PCC for my wife from India through https://portal2.passportindia.gov.in but on this website where can I upload my PCC form which I have downloaded and completed already as instructions specifically do not mention where to upload it ?
