When you the tracking online what do u choose under application type?

hello everyone. I have a question about PCC. my home country is india. on 17 aug 2017 i turned 18 years old and i left india on 24 august 2017 for canada. and i never went back. now i got my ITA. do i need pcc from india as i only stayed there for around 8 days after i turned 18 and never went back. please let me know if i need PCC from india.

Fill up your application and in the last part they'll tell you what documents you need. AFAIK you dont need it.

Postal--> Passport, Didnt you apply through the consulate? I remember you sent it directly to them

Mine was delivered on 29th Jan. I contacted them today and they confirmed that they have received it and it will be available on site in next 2-3 days for tracking. I will update you if I get any update(email), pls do the same so we can save our time in searching record on bls site.

Police verification is done at permanent address on 14th feb, you will also receive email from consulate once they send your file to police so you can reach out to police in India after receiving it. Waiting for next update it will take a week or so based on other’s timeline

Puralator Delivery to BLS: 19th Jan 2021.
BLS Reply on 25h Jan 2021
Passport India Mail Received: 29h Jan 2021(Current Status is 'PCC initiated'
Police verification Completed back in India: Feb3-4th Feb 2021
Status Changed to 'Police Certificate Printed' in Embassy Site: 09th Feb 2021.
PCC delivered: 12th Feb 2021.
Note:- Out of two PCC's requested, One is delivered on 12th Feb. Another one is yet to deliver and Status shows in BLS as ' Ready for Collection'/


Waiting for the next status.

Where can we track the application? Do they email confirmation and then are we able to track?

Call and check. Btw, the card usually comes within a week so wait if you can.

Their nunber is same as on google. Just remember to make multiple attempts. Someone mentioned post 3 PM is better and may take upto 10 tries. Even the number was shared in the thread, search through last 15-20 pages

Tried calling them multiple time but no luck. I was scared by thinking if photo card delivery get delayed due to this COVID situation and also i read in this thread that BLS takes much time to release PCC.

Parcel delivered at bls on feb2.
no acknowledgement email. Not in spam. I called them they said today or tomorrow you will be going to have an email.
Who knows?? Our system is too slow bro

Mine took less than 4 weeks and I received it last week. It all depends on how long it takes to be completed in India at the police station. As soon as you are notified that police verification has been initiated, approach the designated police station. It will speed up things.

I applied on Dec 12, 2020. I still haven't received the PCC. How can I approach the designated police station? I am in Canada currently. Is there a way to get this completed quickly?
