Hi.

I am from India and I have done my Bachelors degree (via correspondence). On the website it says I need to include a photocopy of my degrees + photocopies of Original mark sheet that the applicant has which can be attested by the university which can be sent to ME, which I can forward WES.

My questions are as follows:
1>Do the photocopies of my Degree that I will send need to be attested, or just a simple photocopy will do?

2>I do not have original marksheets as I may have lost them. So in 2007 I requested for duplicate marksheets from my Uni, and the marks were written by hand on those marksheets. So can I send a photocopy of the duplicate marksheet attested and dated by the registrar?

3>It does not mention on the website to include a Transcript of studies. But if I get a transcript of studies, would that be ok?

4>If the answers to question 2 and 3 is a yes, then can I put the attested copy of my duplicate markseet + transcript of studies in a sealed envelope together?

5>Do I need to include an acedemic transcript request form in this envelope? Remember this envelope was given to me directly by the University for me to send to WES.

6>Once I get the sealed envelope, can I put this in another Envelope which will also have the photocopy of my degree as mentioned in point number 1

If you can help me out with these questions, I would really appreciate it.

I have done my Bachelors from Delhi university via correspondence.

Many Thanks

I'm not sure if they accept the manual marksheets, so, it would be better if you clarify this with them via email or call. You need to get all your marksheets attested by registrar. Transcript form is not compulsory but if u can submit then its good. And a copy of provisional or degree certificate. Put all these docs in a single envelope and get it sealed & stamped by registrar office. Then you need to courier this package to WES Canada.

1. They have to be attested .

2. You have no other option , because they were lost. So you have to provide what you can.

3. You need to get transcript signed from controller or vice chancellor

4. Yes.

5. Sorry i could not get you.

6. No , you should not tamper with the envelope that is sealed.

6>Once I get the sealed envelope, can I put this in another Envelope which will also have the photocopy of my degree as mentioned in point number 1 Yes definitely

Guys do I have to enclose only transcripts OR attested photocopies of individual mark sheets for all the 3 years. WES is saying that for India, we just need to send attested photocopies of all marksheets. However I have come across people who have told me to only send transcripts. I am getting abit confused.

also I have done my MBA from England.

So that means I need to send the sealed envelope that the D.U uni gave me + photocopy of my B.com(pass) degree + photocopy of my MBA degree from England and put all these 3 things in an envelope (including the uni envelope) and then I will ask my Uni in England to send transcripts to WES directly. Am i right in saying this???????????????????????

Brother , I think photocopies of mark sheets need to be attested.

I think mark sheets have to be attested and send as well , because the University in transcript will not mention in detail everything. ( This is what my friend and also I did ). Maybe it is not compulsory , but that is what my friends consultant asked to do and that is what the University put in sealed envelope.

England mark sheet you need not put . They will send the sealed envelope themselves. You just need to pay your university and send them WES reference number. My UK University charged me 5 pound for sending to WES.
