Hi Guys,
I need some quick help. All responses are highly appreciated.

I asked WES to evaluate my bachelor's and master's degree but unfortunately they incorrectly evaluated my application. My bachelor's was in electronics and telecommunication engineering but they wrongly mentioned my major/specialization as "Electrical & Telecommunication Engineering". I completed my master's degree in 1.5 years but they have mentioned the length of the master's degree program as 1 year, but equivalent to a Canadian master's degree.

Problems:
1) On the application forms, I have mentioned that I have 18 years of education (12+4+2), do I have to change it to 17 now even though it took me 17.5 years to complete?
2) On question 7 of IMM5669 I had mentioned my field of study to be electronics and telecommunication engineering, do I change it to Electrical & Telecommunication Engineering or leave it as it is?
3) or do I just send everything as is and then ask WES to re-evaluate my documents and after they have fixed the ECA, resend the ECA with a cover letter?

I doubt whether WES would change the length of my master's program to 1.5 year, however assuming they would not do I keep my years of education as 18 or 17?

Can somebody please help me???? I am really confused and out of time.

Doesn't seem like a big deal to me. No need to change anything or contact WES for anything. You will send a copy of your degree certificate and transcript to CIC, which will make everything clear.

I agree. Not a big deal. :)

Thank you bosschips and Namaste. Appreciate you guys response. It definitely makes me feel better :)

I think WES mentioned the length of my master's degree program as one year because one will need at least one year to complete the program. You can't go lower than that. On the other hand, one may also complete this program in 3 years but that can not be extrapolated to 3 years of education. In this case it will be 1 year of education completed in 3 years.

However, I am still worried about my actual degree which is electronics & telecomm engineering VS electrical & telecomm engineering that appears on my ECA. Will not changing or mentioning anything amount to suppression of facts?
Or do you think it is better idea to include a cover letter in my application and mention this discrepancy and at the same time state in the letter that I have informed WES about this discrepancy and soon as they send me a revised ECA, I am going to forward that to the CIO.

Guys, this is December 18th and I just don't have the bandwidth to make any mistake, that's why I am requesting the collective brain power of this forum. I held back on mailing my application today because of this issue, but I have to mail it out tomorrow.

It wont affect. Trust me. What's important is the equivalency. :)

Thank you boss!

Also, just confirming again, I don't change the number of years in education from 18 to 17, even though I completed a 1 year program in 1.5 years.???
