Incorrect RPRF amount :( Pls advice

Ppl ,

We sent the DD for RPRF for an incorrect amount .

Instead of sending 21440 x 2 , we sent 24060 x 2 .

Should I write to New Delhi and ask what needs to be done or should I wait for New Delhi to get back to us..



Pls advice urgently .. We just realized this error . We submitted our PP n RPRF on 1st April n it was recd by ND on 3rd April

No harm done except loss of extra money, send a letter undertaking that you will not claim refund of additional amount of draft

I am afraid that it will be back to you soon, I have seen the same case with one of our senior member "sharma77", he also sent wrong amount ( more than the requirement at that time).

Better is send new- it will save time, detail the things in cover letter, don't wait for earlier amount, I can assure they will return that draft as such.

Yeah . They do say in the letter requesting Meds n RPRF that the amt has to be exact ( neither less nor more ! )

I have sent the correct RPRF amt with a letter of explanation to CHC ND .
Shud I also email n explain the error n update them that I have sent them a letter with the correct RPRF amt ?
