I put incorrect info for my Credit Card and only noticed a day after mailing it off. I called the call centre and they said there is nothing that can be done, except waiting for the package to be returned to me. Does anyone know how long it takes for the package to be sent back.

I am in Canada and Sent my application to the NS CIO.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated :-)

About 2-3 months.
 
I forgot to put the number in.. Application was sent in April and returned in May.. was fairly quick in my case..
 
rather than waiting for 3 months to get ur package back, send one more application this time with correct CC no, any way they will not consider ur first application because of wrong CC , so there is no chance of duplicate entry in system.

I think you can write a letter to CIO explaining your situation and send them updated CC info with that letter.

Hi,

My experience is of year Nov 2009, my CC particulars were correct but at the time of charge my card did not carry sufficient balance, so i receive an email from CIC NC to provide valid CC info, I forthwith repleneshed my card balance and instructed CC bank to clear the charge and sent req form duly filled again to CIC NC. Had no other problems.
