My experience was the extreme, one of our forms was outdated and our entire application was returned to us, back to square one. After four months of no contact from CIC.
If they gave you a time frame and didn't return everything then you haven't lost your spot and should only be slightly delayed. Good luck!

They are so all over the place. So sorry they returned the application just plain stupid.

They are so all over the place. So sorry they returned the application just plain stupid.

Thanks guys...it does suck! But I'm trying to be positive about it and believe that it happened for a reason, I'm applying Outland instead, hopefully they will be more efficient and reasonable than Inland

A member here, Koifish78, who applied in March, still hasn't gotten his SA, all because of one missing document. So yeah, incomplete applications can really hurt.

I am also one of this type of case, I applied on 1st of April 2014 and my documents received at CIC on April 8th, On May 21st, I got an email from CIC regarding just one missing document which I sent on the same day and they received it on May 23rd. Now I have to wait until 19th of July 2014.
