I am American, and recently married my Canadian husband. I was wondering if he will be able to claim me as a dependent on his income tax, even though I do not yet have PR status. Thanks in advance for your answers.

If you live in Canada he should be able to claim the spousal (not dependent, but same amount) credit, i.e. he claims your individual deduction.
