I will be applying for the FSW in the future however with the requirement of 10 years work experience do I have to include all work and references even if it is not relevant?

I worked in marketing briefly for 6 months however my skilled job is under software testing (QA) which I have 2 years in, I also traveled under the IEC for a year and worked random days for different jobs which could be just hours at a time. I don't know why this would help my application as it has nothing to do with the skilled job I will be applying under and makes getting references very difficult.

I'd appreciate any advice!

Yes, as its point for nos of year experience, only 1 year in perticular NOC is required

So If I didn't include certain work experience references would I be rejected or would it just not be counted? As my part time work hardly adds up to anything so seems a bit pointless as it has nothing to do with the NOC i will be applying under.

your point will not be calculated of that years if you didnt show

The document checklist and guide require you to obtain reference letters from all employers for the past 10 years. It doesn't matter if the experience is relevant or not. You can still get credit if it is under skill type 0 or skill level A or B of the NOC. If there are letters you can't obtain, other supporting documentation and an explanation of why should be provided.
