Including our child as sponsored's dependent

We are just starting on getting our forms filled ans documents together and OMG, am I ever happy to have found this forum! Lol

I am Canadiana and Sponsoring my common law partner. We have a child together, who is a Canadian citizen also, therefore doesn't need sponsorship.
Do we mention our child as my spouse's dependent child?

No, the child is not a "dependent" for immigration purposes since they are not being sponsored.

Child's info will only be listed in the "Other family info" form (along with parents, siblings, etc).
