Dear friends,

Just wanted to know in which province we can get P.E. certification is easily or simpler than Ontario?

Please advise.

@ CanadaPR2015, a few things to note:

1. In Canada, one gets registered as P.Eng - P.E is used in the US and some other countries :). Either ways, the abbreviation spells out Professional Engineer, but it might make any google searches or resume entries more relevant.

2. In case it helps, please refer to the following link for some additional discussions around this subject (http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/edmonton-alberta-settlers-join-here-t122247.0.html;msg3804227#msg3804227)

3. Based on personal experience and feedback from others, Alberta (APEGA) may be a smoother prospect compared to Ontario (PEO). For any other province, a google search may yield more favorable results on other online forums (unless some other forum member provides input here).

4. There are reciprocity agreements in place, so if you get a P.Eng from APEGA, it can be transferred to a P.Eng from PEO.

Hello Fdk511,

Thanks a lot for your guidance.

I'm going to read those links. One quick question. If I will be residing at Ontario, can I apply for P.Engineering at Alberta?

Thanks again.

Yes you can definitely apply for a P.Eng with APEGA while living in Ontario. Once your P.Eng is received, you can get the PEO P.Eng through the reciprocity agreements.

Hello
I think you both are now P.Eng.
I have some questions that is P.eng exam is easy?
They need 5 years of experience in field but how can i get job if i am Indian engineer?

And if any course then which one is best!

Please help me

Hi everyone,
I am going to land in Ontario and want to register for their Financial Credit Program.

As per their website they stated that documents required:

1- Transcripts/Degree copies
2- Summary of Syllabus
3- Work Experience Record
4- FCP application Form
5- Proof of identity.

I am preparing all documents prior my landing so that I can start my P.Eng process early as I will be there only for a week.
My question is do they need any reference letters from employers with work experience record ?

If I am missing something kindly guide me.

Your responses will be highly appreciated.
