HI Senior

Can you please answer in which cases the chc ask for University sealed transcript.

Although in checklist of documents at sr. no. 6 they are asking academic transcripts from all but in practise few people are submitting it, visa officers in New Delhi are not asking for academic transcripts. There is no harm in submitting academic transcripts.

One of the forum member Ankit shared a few times an email receied from CHC N which states that all universities are familiar with thsi process and they (Universities) will issue a sealed transcript.

So I think if possible one should send the transcripts in university sealed envelops. if at all not possible then only send notarized copies as if they have asked in the checklist so they need it.

Regards,
Pankaj

Malli, you need Transcripts in Univ Sealed envolope in all cases.

If at all you are not able to get the transcripts you may submit notarized transcripts (marksheets) however, they will be subject to close scrutiny and the visa officer may still require sealed transcripts causing delays to your case.

For New Delhi CHC, Sealed Transcripts are required as per process or if not able to provide then give a valid reason along with photocopies of originals.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS
For you, your spouse or common-law partner:
• Post-secondary education documents: vocational or technical certificates or
diplomas;
• College or university documents: certification of completion and the
graduation degree, diploma, or certificate issued by the college or university and
the evaluation committee;
• Transcripts: original transcripts of all degrees must be submitted in universitysealed
envelopes.
• Professional qualifications certificates: notarized professional qualifications
certificates should be submitted if available. (e.g., Engineer, Computer
Programmer, Accountant, Economist, Translator/Interpreter, Architect etc.)

This is what is mentioned in the New Delhi Specific form.

I am also not sure what need to be provided. I am having Bachelors in Engineering, so what need to be provided for this.

Ankit, can you enlighten on this topic.

Absolutely correct for CHC New Delhi

I am saying the same as everyone who has said before. Do send notarized and dont make any self made rules. IF they asked for sealed, send them sealed. Currently cic is getting so many applications tht its easy to understand that they will surely find every ways possible to return/reject problematic applications.

If you are out of your country then you can contact your embassy and they can provide you your required attestation or transcript.

But please be doubly sure that CIC needs it. Generally a notarized photo copy will work fine.

hello guys
i just want be aware of & to be ready my self. Please make clear what do U mean by "Notarized document" U mean certified or acknowledgment letter from where i graduated including a copy of my transcript with sealed envelop? ???
please share UR advice!!

I have submitted transcripts from all educational institutes for my wife and myself. Except for my BTECH, I submitted notarized - marksheet, certificate and degree equivalency letter.

I kep informing my consultant about the notarized copy and they are everytime saying that sealed transcripts are not required. I am not sure how come they are not knowing this.
