bonny said:Those of you whose status recently changed to "in process" let's share what's going on. Mine changed to "in process" on Feb 01, but when I click on it, it gives 4 messages--2 relating to CIO; and the other 2 are (i) that the file was transferred to the VO and (ii) that the VO received my docs and they are pending review. Is this normal? Shouldn't it say that the VO already reviewed the docs and that they placed my case into processing? I was reading some people are experiencing errors in E-cas, is it one of them? How about those whose status changed to "in process"? Can you share?
My VO is Buffalo, NY.
Thanks!
Bonny
Bonny,
It should say that "your application was reviewed and we started processing". Please keep monitoring your e-cas. I am sure it will soon display that line as well. In my case, I think at first there were only two lines
"We received your application for permanent residence on xxxx.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on xxxx. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."
Then the following two appeared when I received London file number Bxxxxx -
"Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.
We transferred your application to the London England office on xxxx,. The London England office may contact you."
and when it was "in process" the following line was seen -
"Your application was reviewed and we started processing on xxxx".
I am sures yours will look similar in 2-3 weeks. It would be just system update that may be pending. Status "in process" would appear as soon as they set the flag in the database. But the actual verbiage (which will need the exact date) may take some time. Please keep monitoring. Good luck.
