my application is inprocess and i have emailed them on dec ending asking for status and i got email on jan 5th and veririfcation call on jan 19th .please suggest me what to do?

Can you also share the reply of email you got from CIC. Well to answer your question it simply means that your application is now eligible for processing. It may be under background checks as I am also under the same stage.
