In Process since March 2017 In Mississauga

Application started processing 7 March 2017 for four family members in Mississauga office. No corresponding after laps of 10 months. Any comment. Any action on our part. Is this normal. I call CIC and they said 12 months is processing time and ur application is within normal time.

when did you send your application first ,, did they ask you any additional request like Finger Print or RQ ???

have you order ATIP ??? did you contact your MP for help ,, also you can still contact the officers assigned to your case via Web Form or even by sending them a letter to ask for follow up ,, as the last action on your file happened since over 6 months ago and there was no moves or actions on your file ,, I guess they owe you at least explanation ,, best of luck my friend

Via web form standard reply that your application is in process and we contact you if need further information. Got ATIP but nothing important on file as I know. Help from MP, Is it matters. pl guide.

Standard processing time is 12 months. So wait till March 1, 2018. If you dont hear anything by then, then contact IRCC and if they still give you generic info then contact your local MP.

your case maybe non routine, do you travel a lot, have gaps in passport, have long unemployment period, not paid tax?

No travel, we applied same day (but not in a single envelope) my wife get the passport in 8 months even she failed her test in first attempt. I applied separately for her because I thought that she will not be able to pass the test and that may delay applications of whole family. But she passed second time. My application along with my 3 children is pending. Driving taxi during the period and paid 5000 CAD tax annually. I already contacted my MP today and waiting for his response. I would give them a call. Perhaps they can tell you something. While it officially can take up to a year for most it goes faster. Best of luck

What's unsatisfying about this response? Processing time for most applications is 12 months on average...some take more, some take less. That's just how it is.

Your GCMS notes don't show anything concerning, so why are you worried? Applications in the GTA are probably the slowest to process in all of Canada, especially an immigrant hotspot like Mississauga.

Whats your GCMS says ? Where your file is currently, what location exactly (is it test ready tagged ? ) What about your security clearance and criminality ?

what date your file transferred from sydney office to Missisauga ? is your processing office still Missisauga ?

what date you received AOR ?

Below 45K income means about 15% tax in Canada. You paid 5000/year means you made around 30k in a year only. As far as I know not a single Taxi driver in GTA makes that much low unless they hide half of their income. Anyway, that's not my concern. Only reason I am pointing this out, many many people pay 15-20 k tax annually still get RQ, so paying 5k taxes in a year has nothing to do with citizenship.

Could be. I could be wrong here and I was just pointing the fact. But if that 5k tax from a part time job, then I am sure he would mention , paid 40k tax .

Or he might just work part time and does not earn more.

again. anything could be possible. My point was, giving taxes has nothing to do with citizenship or many people here working for last 10 years , paid 150k in taxes should get citizenship certificate and passport mailed to their house without even asking. He mentioned he paid 5k taxes. Not sure what this has to do with citizenship.

I agree with u. Frankly speakung a friend of mine got his citizenship faster than others. He never worked. Filed 0 taxes
