So my girlfriend and I have been together since mid October of 2017 and we need to figure out what is needed to get her PR.
We first got together in October and after around a month after decided she should move in. While she was living with me she was finishing up her work visa which ended on January 11th. Before her work visa expired she returned to Japan on January 6th staying with her parents untill she came back with a student visa on Jan 24th.
We continued living together since she got back with plans of marriage and obtaining her PR.
She is currently in an ESL program with the intentions of continuing into college after that.
We are going to get married before her students visa expires but don't think we will have the funds for an actual ceremony so will more than likely just get it in writing.
Her student visa expires September 30th so we have untill then to get everything in place.
Anyways I would like to know what the best course of action is for the two of us.
