In Montreal, whats are the better options

Dear members,

For anglophone PR, whats are the better options of study in Montreal for entering into the dynamic job market with brighter future prospects (either in Canada / Gulf or else where later on) on quick bases? I have studied Chemistry to postgraduate level.

I could not find anything pertaining to Chemistry other than
1-Analytical Lab Technician - Dawson College,
2-Bio-pharmaceutical Production Technology - John Abbott College

If some one can guide me about some short courses at other institute including UoConcordia, UoMcGill, UoM, UoLaval, UoBishop, UoSherbrooke or UQAM, I will be highly obliged for that.

My main interest is to join any Pharmaceutical, petroleum, petrochemical or chemical industry. I prefer the study option with minimum tenure/duration.

Your insight about the study option will be much appreciated.

Learn French.

Having said that, what is your status in Qc, your current completed education level and work experience? I know of a few people with decent jobs in MTL without French.

Thanks for your kind comment; when I have shown my lack of knowledge and put my self at stake of others experience, I am open to any kind of comment. But your kind is by no way brutal and upsetting.

I am PR, QSW immigrant, holding master of science in Chemistry. I have diversified work experience; in different fields varying from sales, research, teaching, supervision, customer care etc for about 10- 12 years.

Hi! Thanks for replying to my post.anyways, I'm waiting for my Spousal visa.. I plan to study there and hopefully I will be able to work in the hospital setting afterwards..

Ah, the spousal visa is the "easiest" (Note I didn't say fastest !!)

I just had my certificate for basic french only lol.. French is a very difficult language do I still need the ielts knowing that Quebec is is a French place???

I visited the Philippines, very briefly, a long time ago - beautiful place & wonderful people My daughter's amah was Filipina when we lived in HK; she (my daughter) still understands Tagalog, & speaks a bit !

IELTS is not compulsory. I'd highly recommend continuing your French studies, really important for living successfully in most parts of Qc!
