Hello everyone,

I wonder if I can apply super visa for my mother and father in law. I am in the process of sponsoring my wife to become a PR, so she is not a PR yet.

Thanks,
Tom

Nope, you can only sponsor a super visa for your parents or grandparents.

Yes - your husband can invite them.

I appreciate your reply. For I was reading on the requirements needed and there should be a document showing that my mother and husband are related...so I guesss it will be our Certificate of Marriage???

From the CIC instructions.

To apply for the parent and grandparent super visa, you must:

be the parent or grandparent of a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada,
be allowed to enter Canada and
meet certain other conditions.

The OP is neither a PR or citizen.

He's asking about a regular visit visa (6 months) - not a super visa. At least that's how I read it.
