In-Land with separate OWP

Hi everyone,

An August in-land applicant here. I applied separately for OWP later in Jan. I was able to link the OWP application to my cic, and it says it was received on Jan 14th. From the looks of it, no processing has been started on it yet. Is this normal? It's been almost 3 months now. My current work permit expires on May 19th. Should I try to call cic and ask what's up? If so, what combination of numbers do you suggest I use?

Update: I was able to talk with a representative. The agent told me I should have been issued an acknowledgement letter that she'll make sure officers send shortly. That the timeline is 112 days for mail applications and I should get the final decision in the beginning of May. Meanwhile, I am legally able to keep working under implied status.
