Importing a car to Canada from US

Has anybody imported a BMW from US to Canada in recent times?
I need some information regarding the same.

Thanks for that link but I need info on getting the recall clearance letter or BMW specifically..... how to get that?

you can choose the manufacturer and it gives the contact details for recall certificate

For bmw recall clearance you can just input your vin on BMW website and submit a printout of the page. As long as the date is within 30 days of your importing riv accepts it.
