I got my ITA on the recent draw on 15th Oct and am in the documentation stages. Regarding proof of funds, I have the following query.
1 - My FD for INR 5L is open from Sep 15th
2 - My Wife's FD for INR 5L has only been opened on Oct 15th. She made a mistake of opening a joint bank account with her father - Would this be a problem ? FD is clearly in her name only but main account has her name and her fathers.
3 - Also, the timeline for us to submit all documents is Dec 15th( 2 months from now ). We are creating gift deeds to show the source of these funds( from father ) and getting it notarized. Would any issue arise considering both our FD's have only been opened recently ? I read somewhere that, the amount should be locked for a min 6 month period.
Some experts - Please help.
