First of all we are sending off the application in less than a week now so I would greatly appreciate it if I could get some kind of reply soon.

My first question is, will my application be returned if I am unable to submit my police clearance at this time? It will be submitted later. I am applying for the OWP which will be included with it but since my status expires on July 31, 2010 I am afraid of the chance of them returning it and that would leave me without status. Is there anyone that has applied inland successfully without their police clearance being included in the initial application?
I have plenty of documentation explaining why I am unable to supply it right now and when I should be expecting it. Would this evidence suffice?

My second question is, what is the address to Vegreville in which I can send by Xpresspost? I know that Mississauga has two separate addresses for retrieval of normal mail and by courier. I am not sure if Vegreville does the same.

If someone could answer these soon, I would greatly appreciate it. I would also greatly appreciate the assistance of a fellow inlander. Thanks. :)

Also if you do not have your police report it will just hold the process from going forward until it is supplied.....in some cases they send the app back but unlikely, they will likely request it when they want it so if you could get it to them before hand that would likely be good.
And if you send the ap for the OWP with your ap you will be under implied status until you get the results of that permit you should also send in an extension ap for your visit visa.

Thank you for that information. However, I cannot understand the point in sending an application for an extension of my stay as well with the application if the OWP protects my status. I was informed by RobsLuv as well as several inlanders that supplying the OWP itself would be good and no need to submit both applications in.

Its true its just a personal choice if they do not give you the OWP they may extend your visit.I have just seen her on the forum many have sent in both. Its up to you.

Well even if they don't give you the OWP after 7-8 months because they need an interview, as far as I know, I would still be on implied status until after the interview at which time they would hopefully grant first stage approval and give me the OWP I had applied for. Just going based on other statements here so not sure.

Again thank you for you input. I was mostly just stating the following incase someone else has any doubts to their own situation. If I am incorrect I hope that someone is able to recorrect me.

I would appreciate hearing other peoples responses. I am getting nervous about this. I really don't want my application returned.

Hey,
Don't be nervous, it'll work out just fine. I submitted only the OWP application with my package, and I send it all out two weeks before my work visa expired. I received a lettre from Vegreville once they opened my application stating that at this point the OWP can not be processed, and that I have implied status until a decision will be made. I was lucky to be able to work throughout the process, made the waiting a bit easier.
I had all my clearances included in my original package and they never asked me for any other information, I think if you supply it to them as soon as you have it it should be fine.

Good luck with your application!
