hey folks.. iam planning to carry few essential drugs as in antibiotics, analgesics and also few other over the counter drugs since its very costly in canada.. is it ok to carry these.. should we tell this in the airport that we carrying this..? will they allow us to carry these drugs? please enlighten..

i would suggest not to carry any medicines in the carry on luggage.....in ur checkin luggage it should perfectly fine
 
yes put them in your check in luggage and it should be ok, and if you absolutely have to have a little amount to take for the traveling time make sure you have the written prescription with you just in case the security officers would like to so it.

checking luggage means the luggage which we send in right not the one which we carry with us in the plane?

You can carry medicines with you in the cabin luggage, as long as you have a valid prescription for them! Else put them in the the check-in luggage!
