Implied Status

Can anyone assist please. My wife's 6 months of stay will be expiring in a month's time. Although she has multiple entry visa and we have filed for P.R and work permit which are still pending. I understand that once her 6 months lapses she will have an implied status to remain in canada until decisions are made. We are trying to hedge our chances to avoid breaking any law so how can we apply for extension of stay with a multiple entry visa

Thanks starnaenae. I reckon. Just want to make sure she doesnt stay illegally. Who knows with this applications!

She has implied status - but I would definitely apply for the extension if I were in your shoes. We've seen several applications returned here recently because they were incomplete due to a small issue (missing signature, missing form) - and people have then ended up out of status in Canada. Extending her stay gives you insurance in case the application is returned as incomplete for any reason.
