I've asked a lot of questions so far, but once something gets in my head it stays there until it has an answer and I can go back to being relieved.
My spouse is currently in NZ, and I am in Canada. We have applied (outland) for PR and are waiting for our AOR. He is going to be joining me in Canada at the end of the month, and everyone is saying he can stay up to 6 months as a visitor without a visa. Because we have an application in the process, doesn't this mean he has implied status? Or does it not count? With implied status for his work permit, he was able to stay legally in Canada until we got our letter saying it was rejected. So is this the same? Can he tell customs agents that he has implied status? Or should he just say he is visiting?
Thank you!!!
