my bro applief for his PR within canada on march 2017 thru express entry cec, he had 2 pending charges from 2016 n he had to get a good lawyer n had the charges dropped in nov 2017 he did send the court doc that his lawyer gave him that shows the charged were dismissed he also gave a copy of that at the police station n they told him they will forward to rcmp i guess n he was on study permit at that time n now his study permit expired nov 30th 2017 he did apply for a study permit extension before nov 30 n thats also in process still he ordered notes n called cic as well but so far no news ...cic did tell him he can stay on implied statud n continue to study n work part time like before but now new semester is starting n he cant attend uni bcz new study permit is still not approved ..can he still work should he wait in canada or go back home? is there anything else he needs to send cic regarding the dropped charges ..ur advice n response would be great!
