Implications of using a representative

Hi,

I used my uncle who is in Canada as my representative. He got the confirmation email about my application but I didn't get it directly. The website has the mailing address as His address, but not my one. Is this how it works>

I am yet to receive a call from my local embassy in Sri Lanka. Does anyone know how it works from medial to PR if one appoints a user representative?

Does a user rep delay the process?

1. Yes, CIC only corresponds with the representative.
2. The request for medical will be sent to your representative.
