Implications of updating the correspondence address

Hi Experts

I have shifted from Canada to India almost 45 days back and now want to update my correspondence address to my Indian address. I would like to know the implications of the same:

1. Will this transfer my application from Canada to India?
2. Will this delay my application process?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I moved to USA from Canada after 1 month after receiving AOR. I updated address after 3 months. I got PPR without any issues. They will not transfer your file.

No, your application will be processed in Ottawa.

2. Will this delay my application process?

No, not at all. However, it might delay your application if you don't change your address.
