Immigration with exempt from LMO

Hello,
I need your advice , I have got work permit visa for permanent job offer which exempt from LMO , is it eligible to apply now for PR skilled worker program with this status ( I mean with the exemption from LMO) or my employer should request LMO to apply for PR , Really I need your advice because I prepared all my requirements but I afraid from refusing my application because of this issue

Do i need to have LMO?
