Immigration to Canada

Hi guys,
I am recently been told about this forum. I am a Pakistani national living in UK, if someone can answer my questions.
I want to apply for canadian immigration, I am living here since last 9 years.
Whats the best option to apply and how? I have few years work experience and studied MBA in London.

Please if anyone can answer? and how long it takes to get canadian residence i mean initial work visa?

Canada has a number of different immigration programs. You'll need to research them to see what it takes to qualify and apply. I would recommend you start with the Express Entry program. You can find these details here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/index.asp

It will take a minimum of 6 months for your PR application to be processed from the time it's received - however you should expect it will take several additional months (at a minimum) for you to prepare and wait to be selected.

Obtaining a job offer in Canada before you have PR is extremely difficult since employers have to go through a long, expensive and complicated process to hire you. Chances are very low you will be successful - however you can certainly try.

So you mean to say to go through the express entry option and apply for immigration through that?
