Immigration to Canada for a Canadian living in the United states and girlfriend.

Hello,

My boyfriend is a Canadian and is here in the US on a permanent resident card. We both are on disability here in the US. Would he be able to bring me over to Canada? We have been together as a couple for eight and a half years. We live in Arizona. I am 30 and he is 35, I am on SSI and he is on SSA, I know that he can go back to Canada anytime but for me would I be able to get in once after we got married?

Your boyfriend can sponsor you as his spouse after marriage or as common-law or conjugal partner, if he can prove your relationship, to immigrate to Canada as permanent resident.
