I sent my application and supporting documents to Buffalo at the end of July. I didn't hear from Buffalo yet. I cheeked my status CIC website using the file number i got from Nova scotia. My status are the following:


We received your application for permanent residence on xxxx, xxxx.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on xxxx, xxxx. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the Buffalo office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the Buffalo office on xxxxx, xxxx. The Buffalo office may contact you.



I didn't even received a file number from Buffalo. could anyone suggest me a reason for the delay?

You should have received an AOR from Buffalo sometime in Aug/Sept. Good idea to contact Buffalo to ask for the status of your file.

Check your spam folder, if nothing there, send a case specific email.
