Immigration pictures - Please help!

Hello!

I just found 10 pictures that match the specifications for my PR application (previously used them to apply for a TRV). However, I have a little makeup (eyeliner) and these pictures were taken in February. I'll be applying in August. Do I have to take new pictures or could I just use these?
Do the pictures have to have anything written on the back? I read that at some places the photographer writes a swearing that the picture is actually you..

Hi,

The pictures need to be "recent". In my opinion, February of this year is recent unless you've done something drastic to change your appearance. Eye liner is fine.

Read the Region Specific Guide for the Visa Post where your application will be sent. It will tell you what to write on the back of the pictures, if anything.

Well I guess I'll be sending these. I checked the guide and it doesn't need to have anything written on the back. It would be funny if they looked into my file and found out I used exactly the same pictures for my TRV!

Haha! Not really strange for them. You won't be the first or the last with the same pictures.

i mailed in a lot of pictures including wedding ones! not all recent some from the first time we met so its kind of like a timeline
